Alicia Silverstone is the daughter of Monty Silverstone (father) and Deidre R. Radford. Her birthplace was in Hillsborough on 4 October 1976. She has half-siblings in her father's previous marriage. She was raised in the typical manner in a middle-class family and grew up in San Francisco. In her early years, at six she started modelling and then starred as the star of her first TV commercial for Domino's Pizza. Silverstone was a graduate of the San Mateo High school, Crocker Middle school and Crocker Middle.
