Angela Sun

Angela Sun is a journalist sportscaster, documentary filmmaker and television host. Angela Sun was born on September 19, 1979 located in Santa Clara County California. She is an award-winning journalist and sportscaster as well as an actress. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in sociology and communication at the University of California. Sun had exceptional surfing skills and was a participant in numerous pro-am Surf events which led to her getting sponsorships from major brands such as Roxy Reef Billabong Vans etc. It was the fame she gained through her participation in these events that led her into the realm of entertainment. Sun, in the future, went on to be a sportscaster actress investigative journalist and film director. Sun was anchor of news for various channels. She worked for Fox Sports Net as a reporter in 2003. She also co-hosted American Ninja Warrior in 2012 with Matt Iseman, Jonny Mosley and Jill Moseley. Sun was host of The Yahoo Sports Minute for the season 2014. She is the first Asian-American personality to appear on ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports and Tennis Channel. Sun has appeared in a variety of movies and received not only praise but also fame for her acting skills. She's worked in films like Goliath (2016, Hit the Floor 2014-2016), A Perfect Getaway 2009) Shackled 2005, Street Kings 2008 and Glowsticks and Drumsticks 2004. In 2014, Sun came out with Platic Paradise: The Great Pacific Garbage Patch a film of a feature length about the plastic pollution in the oceans and its impact on the ecosystem. Sun wrote, directed and produced herself.
