Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy is a 16-year old American who was born in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor was a former banker. Jennifer Marina Joy worked as a Psychotherapist. The father of her is Argentine with Scottish as well as English heritage. Her mother is Spanish and English origin. Taylor-Joy has five siblings four from her father's previous marriage. The family was initially of Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria as Taylor-Joy reached the age of six. According to Taylor-Joy the move was traumatic and she was unable to study English in the hopes of moving back to Argentina. Hill House became her school preference after she was forced to change schools. Then she attended Queen's Gate School in London, where she took ballet classes as well as participated in plays. After 16 she quit school in order to explore acting as a profession. Taylor-Joy was destined to be an actress from a very young age. The realization of her dreams came after Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modeling job.
